In collaboration with the Intellectual Property Office (formerly National Bureau of Standards), it has also constructed a comprehensive patent database that covers all of Taiwan's patents since 1950. The site used to also have an extensive database on the patents of the People's Republic of China, but that service has been suspended. No announcement yet on when this service will resume.

It houses the translated and commented patent cases database and many other research papers in intellectual property, intellectual assets management and technology transfer. The Center for Science and Technology Policy and Law is also located here.
